PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Sterile, single use, non-pyrogenic and non-allergenic
Soft, flexible, frosted and kink resistant PVC tubing
The tubing shall not be rough and the tip is rounded to prevent trauma during application
Size is shown on the tube. It should be color-coded for size identification
Length: 40-55cm

Tube is marked at 5 cm from distal end and 1 cm afterward for accurate placement
The lumen shall stay patent for the feed to pass through. The flow inside the tube shall be smooth
Closed distal and with two lateral eyes
Connector shall suitable with syringe luer lock and slip lock. The feeding tube shall be able to make a connection with an enteral giving set
The connector shall be secured so that the dimensions do not alter by deformation when connection to the tube is attempted
There shall be no leakages from the point of connection and along the tube
All parts and joints of the enteral feeding tube shall withstand a considerable linear tensile force without disconnection, rupture or cracking
The device shall be evaluated for biocompatibility and shall be free from biological hazard
